BMO Award Winning Image. This is an image from the series based on the idea of me seeking thrills in life. It is an image of me standing in the field with a beam of light shining on me. No computer effect was added onto the image, the photo was done in one shot. The light beam was created using a large flash light in a dense fog environment.
This is one of my favorite self-portraits, best reflecting my attitude towards life. If I live a life I am willing to die for, then no one can threaten to take anything away from me.
A series of photographs base on interviews I conducted with all of the participants. Each one of them were given four fundamental questions about their desires and their answers are being projected onto them in the photo.
This is a photo from the "Goodbye" series. The text is projected onto the participant during the shot after the interview. No computer effect was added to the photo, all of the color lighting was done on set.

This is the room set up of the installation. This video project is based on the theme of Love, translated by the story of an egg. The 10 minute long video is projected onto the surface of the egg for viewing in the installation.
This image is the close up of the projector set up. The height of the projector is lined up with the egg at the center.
The paper and cardboard are taped onto the projector as a refinement to limit the amount of light being projected.
Room view of installation after turning off the lights. The glow in the dark stars acts like a stairway to the center stage of the installation where the video is being played on the surface of an egg.

An image still from the video.
A video projection of pigeons flying backwards in slow motion is being played in a locked glass room, creating a void between viewers and the subject matter in the projection.
An image still from the video: When the pigeons are flying there is a glowing effect on them to celebrate their movement.
A video projection that creates the illusion of me walking into the wall and beyond, behind two whiteboards with the mathematics, chemistry, physics and Chinese song lyrics of the song I am singing in the background music of the video.

The viewers can sit at the chair in the installation set up allowing them to become part of the installation.
An Image still from the video In this Video I act as a character whose job is to deliver people's dreams to the land of wishes.
The story is being told by the text running along at the bottom of the floor. The text was created using computer effects; I was trying to recreate Jenny Holzer's projection style.

This installation is based on a video of camera flashes with balloons falling and popping. The star like object you see on the projection wall is a camera flash in the video. The objective of this project is to invoke the feeling of being in a storm.
A balloon falling in the video projection.
In this image I turned on the camera flash when I was taking the documentation photo to show you the room is filled with fishing lines hanging from the ceiling to create the sense of touch from rain drops when you are in the installation.
